Environ is located in downtown Long Beach, California. Our team collaborates on an array of project types such as: spatial planning and tenant improvements to ground up construction and historic preservation.

Bixby Business Center is located by in the heart of Bixby Knolls off Atlantic Ave.
THE DESIGN
The Bixby Business center required extensive additions, including ground floor entrance, reception, second floor business center, ADA improvements, exterior patio and landscaping. Environ also renovated the public spaces between each suite to ensure a cohesive aesthetic.

The Battery Storage facility is located in Alamitos.
THE DESIGN
The AES Alamitos BESS facility is an award winning stand-alone energy-storage unit for local capacity and grid-scale battery energy storage.
- The facility is the world’s first stand-alone energy storage project for local capacity.

- It is the world’s first grid-scale battery energy storage system to receive a long-term power purchase agreement (PPA).

- It is the first standalone battery energy storage system specifically procured to replace a natural gas peaker plant in the U.S.​​

Environ adapted an aircraft manufacturing hanger, into a high security federal laboratory. The adaptive reuse project was technically challenging and required scientific precision. The lab was constructed within the existing structure, reducing cost and environmental impact.
